Hi there!

Welcome to my site!

I'm a 23 year old Australian (Victorian) based singer, dancer, and actor who completed my Diploma of Musical Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth, Western Australia in 2022.

About...

Taylah is a musical theatre performer who has grown up in the performing arts. She began by taking dance lessons when she was 3 years old specialising in tap, jazz, ballet and contemporary, and continued to grow in the dance community by competing, performing in concerts and events around Victoria. Throughout primary school, she knew she loved to sing, and she would sing in front of the entire school whenever she was asked.

When Taylah hit high school, she got cast as a Silly Girl in her first ever musical, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and her interest immediately grew. From there, she joined a few local theatre companies, landing a few lead roles in different musicals such as Meg Giry in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, Baroness Elsa Schraeder in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and Eponine in LES MISÉRABLES. In 2018, she won 'Best public speaker' x2, and 'Best solo singer' at Wakakirri, representing her high school at the State competition.

In 2019, Taylah got the opportunity to sing side stage for 'Elphaba' in Bendigo Theatre Company’s WICKED, and from there, opportunities grew for her. In 2020, she expanded her comfort zone by travelling to Melbourne for the first time to play the character Nessarose in MYP's WICKED. In 2021, she received her first main lead role as Scaramouche in BTC’s WE WILL ROCK YOU and got nominated as ‘Best Leading Actress’ at the Victorian Guild Awards that year. In the following November, she got accepted into Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, studying the Diploma of musical theatre. She was lucky enough to get the lead role as The Chaperone in the Diploma’s mid year musical, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE.

Since receiving her diploma, Taylah has moved back to Bendigo and has opened up her own singing studio. She is currently teaching at BSE's ACA program as a vocal coach, and in 2023 choreographed BSE's end of year musical, LEGALLY BLONDE. She also taught dance as part of the Gurri Wanyarra Leisure Centre dance program in '23. Taylah's last on-stage show was HEATHERS with OCPAC as Heather Duke back in September 2023. She was also fortunate enough to help out with Girton Grammar's middle school production of FROZEN JR as a vocal coach, in September 2024.
